Spend your break with us! During CPS Spring Break, March 25-29, Marwen will offer FREE, 2-hour artmaking workshops designed and led by Marwen Emerging Teaching Artists to young people in grades 6-12. Experiment with ceramics, drawing, fashion, printmaking, photography, and more!
Marwen will host half-day, 2-hour workshops (10 am - noon; 1-3 pm) where you can learn a variety of skills, collaborate with Marwen artists, and learn directly from a celebrated Chicago emerging teaching artist. These workshops offer the chance to immerse yourself in a specific artistic practice for the day.

Sun Prints: Photography Workshop

Zoetrope Animation: Design Workshop

In this workshop learn the basics of stop motion animation and video storytelling to create an animated video of your choosing. Use puppets, dolls, or legos to create a short 15 second animation! At the end we will put everyone's clips together to create a collaborative animation reel.
